2018 Camp Meeting Keith Monk
Dr. Mark Rutland, missionary evangelist and founder of Global Servants, will be preaching on the first Saturday night. The North Rome Church of God Choir will also be singing this night.
Dr. Gil Watson, teaching minister at Rome First United Methodist Church, will be preaching our Memorial Service which will be the first Sunday.
Dr David Naglee, district superintendent of the Rome Carrollton district, will be preaching Sunday night.
Reverend Matt Duvall, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Rome, will preach Monday night.
Lieutenant Colonel William G. Mockabee, the program secretary of The Salvation Army, US Southern Territory will be preaching on Tuesday night. The Salvation Army band will also perform.
Reverend Mike Garrett, pastor of Dykes Creek Baptist Church will be preaching on Wednesday night. The Dykes Creek Baptist Church will be will be singing.
Reverend Zach Mathis will be preaching our youth service on Friday Night.
Reverend Robin Lindsay, retired elder in the North Georgia United Methodist Conference, will be preaching the last Sunday morning service.

All evening services will begin at 7:30 this year.
The First Sunday will be Throwback Day. We would like for everyone to dress in attire from the past. Choose your decade from 1860’s to 2010 and wear your favorite outfit for church and dinner on the grounds.
On both Saturday mornings, we will have memory services. Each cabin will be sharing memories of camp meetings past.
We will have t-shirts available before camp meeting begins so they can be worn during the week. They will also be available for sale during the week. More information to follow about this.

We are bringing watermelons back for Tuesday night after the service.
Ice-cream social will be on Thursday night after the evening service as usual.
An 1860’s style campsite will setup all week for visiting.
The First Sunday, we will have dinner on the grounds after the morning service, The menu will be fried chicken, 2 sides, bread, dessert and tea. The cost will be $7.00 for adults. Children 12 and under are free. We will need a head count by Friday, June 29th via text, call, or email to LauraM2011@comcast.net.
On the last Saturday, we have a chuck wagon coming to set up and cook for us. They will be cooking beans, cornbread, and cobbler. We will also have chuck roast, slaw and tea. Cost will be $10 for adults. Children 12 and under $5.00. We will need a head count by Wednesday, July 18th via text, call, or email to LauraM2011@comcast.net
Food trucks are coming on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They will be setting up under the trees from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00. P.M.
Tent, tables, and chairs will be provided, so that we will have a shady place for everyone to eat meals.
